Students will be able to: CE-1 Propose, analyze, validate and interpret models of simple real situations, using the most suitable historiographic tools for the purposes that are pursued. CE-2 Learn to develop a scientific methodology for any type of action and decision. CE-3 Acquire skills in the management of new technologies CE-4 Get involved in professional activity and commitment to society in all matters related to the defense and conservation of Musical Heritage. CE-5 Be aware of the importance of developing initiative and self-criticism. El/La Alumno/a will be able to: CT-1 Synthesize CT-2 Solve problems and make decisions CT-3 Work as a team and collaborate with other professionals CT-4 Be self-critical CT-5 Develop and keep competences, skills and knowledge up to date.
Synchronous teaching. Use of the Virtual Platform of the subject as a common tool in the dump of contents and in the teacher/student interaction. Expository classes in which the account of the basic theoretical contents will be made. Interactive classes in which the activities will be practical, related to the theoretical contents of the subject. Personalized tutoring both in person and through the tools available in the official virtual platform of the subject, always by appointment. Field practice coordinated with the other subjects of the first quarter of the fourth, to visit: Pontevedra, Tui, Valen莽a, Ourense, Celanova and Lugo (provided there is funding). Such practices shall be compulsory for all students enrolled in the subject matter and shall be assessable. Destinations may be modified within the Galician area according to the needs of each of the subjects.
Evaluation with specific in-person final test, in the following percentage: 70% theoretical-practical in-person test; 15% (performance of two papers [7.5% c. u.]), 15% attendance and active participation in the course, interacti贸n through virtual platform of subject. The presentation of the works indicated is mandatory. Failure to do so in a timely manner will result in a negative penalty on the grade in the same percentage on the final grade (-7,5 % c/u) The student body to which it is awarded is exempt from class attendance (following Instruction No 1/2017 of the Xeral Secretariat on waiver of attendance to class in certain circumstances) will also perform the two works that will be worth 10% each and a final specific test of theoretical contents-which will account for 80 % of the rating.
The art. 16 of the Regulations for the evaluation of the academic performance of students (DOG 21 of xullo, 2011) establishes the following: "The fraudulent completion of any exercise or test required in the evaluation of a subject will imply the qualification of suspense in the corresponding call, regardless of the disciplinary process that may be followed against the offending student.
It will be considered fraudulent, among others, the realization of plagiarized works or obtained from sources accessible to the public without re-elaboration or reinterpretation and without citing the authors and the sources.
On the second occasion the same percentages will be observed as indicated in the first.
Two hours of theoretical class weekly. One hour interactive weekly. A biweekly tutorial. Personal study of the subject taught (15 hours). Readings, auditions and other personal activities (10 hours). Participated activities of preparation of classroom work, criticism, comments or debates (15 hours).
It is not recommended to take the subject without passing previously Introduction to the Musical Language and History of Music The student/ to maintain a constant work rhythm that allows him a progressive learning and also to detect in time the difficulties that may arise in the study of the subject. You should attend the sessions, pay attention and be as participatory as possible. It will be especially valued to be able to answer the questions that the teacher usually asks in the classes, as well as to explain everything that is not clear in the explanations or introduce new formulations. Reading and study of the recommended bibliography, together with the auditions indicated for each topic. Frequent use and consultation of notices and materials uploaded to the virtual campus. Regular use of personalised tutorials and collective tutorials.
Cell phones, computers, tablets and other electronic devices are not allowed in the classroom.
